As a marketing agent for several websites and also for Real Estate properties; I found that this book provides a vast amount of advice that is geared towards an eBook writer. In writing my first novel, it became very clear that publishing my book through 's program is the only way to go. In need of direction for marketing this new book I have read this book with an open mind and hopes for good information. It exceeded my expectations, with valuable tips that I probably would never have thought of or would have found out too late! One of the tips of "obtaining interviews" and the various ways to go about being interviewed stands out as the best information in my case. So, I end this with a Happy New Year message and Happy Writing as well!
What I liked about this book

I liked the authors emphasis on

The importance of an attractive cover, which he refers to as "the face of your publication". He then goes on to explain why.

The inclusion of keywords in the Title; This will help your book to show up when visitors search for your keywords.

Promoting the author as well as the e-book, how to do it and why it will help you to make more sales.

How to optimize your author's page to create fans of your publications.

The importance of the description, which essentially is a chance to "sell" or "convince" a potential customer of the value of your e-book.
I particularly liked the author's idea to add a testimony to the description.

What else did I like about this book

I also liked the fact that the author explained a myriad of different methods that other authors could choose from, without feeling that ALL of the methods were necessary in order for their book to benefit.

The author suggests using a blog to attract potential customers searching for information related to your e-book and how to begin building a list with a service that allows you to add an inviting form on the blog to capture email addresses.

Once that happens you can begin to build trust and develop a relationship with those visitors who sign up. That trust will ultimately boost e-book sales. -)

The other subjects the author covers inside are

How bonuses can make your e-book an increasingly desirable item;
How to use JV partners to provide the bonus if you don't want to;
The importance of networking
How to use Twitter, Facebook, Guest Blogging and interviews to expand your reach;
Also, how to utilize Press Releases and Teleseminars;

If you're looking to increase the sales of your kindle books, this one does have some nuggets you never thought about.
These things can add up to a more successful kindle book or business.

This book has a lot of useful information. But, for some reason, it wasn't quite what I was looking for.
I only wished I had this book before I had written 2 books,. now on . Preparing title and cover, using Blogs, facebook, e-mails, are just some of the great hints on getting your book looked at and purchased.

This book presents a lot of information in a concise format that is easy to read. The writing and marketing tips presented are excellent. What I liked most of all is the frank discussion of what you need to do to ensure that you will get a great many sales. It even presents a schedule that you can follow to help bolster your success. I haven't seen anyone else condense so much useful information into a single page. Amazing! I have, however, seen a lot of far more expensive books struggle to deliver a fraction of what's in this book.
As a new author/publisher, this book is definitely a kick in the pants for me. It reminded me of a couple of things I need to get done! I need to revisit my Author Central page, and I definitely need to set up a blog to promote my books. Thanks! Filled with much more that those two items, definitely take a look at this book. gary
I continue to search for truly new ideas,but most of the KIndle marketing books sold on selling seem to little more than bland rehashing of the free guides published by on the topic. There is no substitute for quality content, and this book is not well-written, has sloppy formatting, and was not edited by a national English speaker.
